Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Muffins

There has got to be some reward for all of the work with maintaining sourdough starter. I knew going into this that there would be discard. I was not quite prepared for how much discard there be. 

I have been learning about sourdough starter and wondering what to do with the discard. So, here I am marrying my discard with my chocolate love. DuckDuckGo-ing for recipes I began wading through recipes.

Some require refrigerating the dough (not sure why). Some had oil. Some had ... well, let's just say there are LOTS of recipes to choose from. I landed on the recipe Sourdough Discard Chocolate Chip Muffins by Kiersten Hickman.

• Kerrygold Unsalted Butter
• King Arthur Baking All Purpose Flour
• Ghirardelli Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
• Kirkland Signature Saigon Cinnamon

• Parchment Muffin Liners
