Small Batch Dinner Rolls

Have you ever wanted homemade dinner rolls but didn't need a couple of dozen? That was me the other day. Searching cookbooks, Amazon, and of course Google. That's how I came across the recipe for Small Batch Dinner Rolls from the Dessert for Two by Chef Christina Lane, who scales down hundreds of recipes for two.

The recipe makes only 4, yes that is right, only 4 rolls. Perfect. You can read the post which include explanations of each step with pictures, or jump straight to the recipe. You will need a 6 in round cake pan or a muffin tin. From start to finish, is roughly an hour and a half, with most of the time in the proofing. Speaking of proofing, my kitchen was on the cool side so I didn't get as much rise as expected. Nonetheless, they were still yummy.
