Sourdough

Sourdough bread is one of my favorite types of bread. During the pandemic many were creating their own starter. I tried and failed. I tried and failed. Then I got a Sourdough Home.

I restarted my sourdough starter and that left me with a lot of discard. So I baked biscuits.

I love baking bread. I, however have not yet mastered sourdough...until now, maybe. 

I am still determined to master sourdough bread.  So far I've only gotten one good starter and my bread was good but could be better.

There has got to be some reward for all of the work with maintaining sourdough starter. I knew going into this that there would be discard. I was not quite prepared for how much discard there be. 

A snack and a pie crust, graham crackers are a fav and decided to try making my own.

Craving a grilled cheese, I found I needed sandwich bread and of course I have discard to do something with, so... I made Sourdough Discard Sandwich Bread.
